I’m so glad the girls finally got to make some memories with my Grandma Lorraine. She’s 91 years old and still full of life- active with friends and church. I hope I’ve inherited her longevity genes! She just started spending winters in Florida with my Mom, Aunt Marcia, and Uncle Greg (who all own places in a retirement community there). They love having her around because she’s usually the life of the party.
My Grandma has an incredible memory (she watches Jeopardy every night and kills it!), and so many family stories to tell. I love listening to them. My Grandpa died very young, leaving her with 5 young kids to raise alone while she worked full time as a labor and delivery nurse. The woman has grit, I’ll tell ya!
Quinnie and her Great-Grandma formed an instant bond. It was really sweet to see.
making a cake together..
yum!
she gave the girls this glass starfish
Then we headed outside to help Grandma with her gardening..
She lives in a beautiful community right on Oneida Lake. We left her at home to rest for a bit while we walked down to the lake..
it was so pretty and peaceful there
the girls picked out some shells to add to their collection at home

We love you Grandma/ Great-Grandma! Can’t wait to see you again this summer!
Sweetness..love this post! ❤️
