My life-long friend Bethany invited us to her place just outside of Portland, Maine. Our kids had a blast playing together at Calumet the week before, so we were psyched to get together again. I love Maine. It’s such a beautiful place. We met up at Bethany’s beautiful new home for a bit, then headed to the beach. It was an overcast day, but we had a great time anyway…
Quinnie and Kiera with Sawyer, Cooper, and Stella. It’s almost impossible to get a great pic of all 5 kids at once, so I took a bunch…
Not sure what they were up to here, but they sure were having fun!
Homemade seesaw. When we were kids, Bethany and I (and our siblings) spent countless hours on the one at Calumet.
Kiera going for a walk. This moody Atlantic weather feels like home to me.
Before heading back to NH, we decided to go to Bailey’s for ice cream. Took some quick pics from the car window..
This town is adorable. Lots of the houses that look like this..
Lots of restaurants like this..
and cute ice cream places like this..
Bailey’s even had an ice cream flavor designed by Stella’s 2nd Grade class (they’d just had a field trip there to learn about making ice cream).

The Matriarchs of our two families with their Granddaughters (they’ve been great friends since they were roommates in Nursing School in their early 20’s!).
It’s SO hard to say goodbye…
Don’t worry, I think this is just the beginning of another lifelong friendship 🙂
One of our favorite books- a New England Classic.
Chilly but fun day! I am sure there will be more get togethers this summer too! Can’t wait..❤️
