“Lately” as in random photos from the past year that haven’t been used in other blog posts…
When did she start looking like a teenager?! She’s growing up too fast…
I love that her silly side is still going strong.
Quinnie and Kiera both have a natural ear for music. They’ve taught themselves quite a few songs on the piano and recorder by ear (Ode to Joy is a favorite). I would love to get them into lessons but they both insist on teaching themselves just for fun.
forever doing art projects
making hats out of paper / note for Kiera saying, “Please don’t break.”
her homemade wrapping paper
putting together a robotic arm with Papa
picture she drew after recently being sick with throat/ lung issues
still obsessed with guinea pigs
soccer practice
her best friend Antonia came to watch soccer practice one day
Students change schools in 5th grade here. We checked out a few on their open house days (even though she’s only in 3rd Grade- we wanted to get an early look). Quinnie was especially drawn to the science classes.
Quinnie’s sage words about teachers and teaching (from last year)…
she loves this outfit that Opa bought her in India
happiness in Italy (above and below- with friends)
she asked me to take both of these pics 🙂
Jumping off the 3 Meter high diving board. She has since jumped of the 5 Meter one. Fearless!
Picked her up from school and she was wearing only the hood of her coat (silly side again!).
still loving her Playmobil
Still missing her friend Cassidy in America (though we’ve been Skyping with them more often, which she is thrilled about!).
