As excited as we are about moving into our new neighborhood, we sure are going to miss Ebertplatz Park. The commute to school was long, but it forced us to walk through this beautiful, leafy park, and to pass by the duck pond every day. We will still be able to visit it, of course, but it won’t be as convenient, and there will be new parks to explore…
Oh, the fun we’ve had here! The hours spent and the memories made…
Searching for flowers, berries and little critters- their favorite thing to do. They are both little nature scientists.
Kiera: “I’m a house!” (twig is the roof)
Flower petals. Nobody could ever accuse our girls of not stopping to smell the flowers…
Every day Kiera runs to the duck pond to “fish” with a stick. She gets so excited when she finds something underwater (usually garbage).
She tried to bring this long branch home. I’m sure she would have slept with it if I’d let her.
We call this “Kiera’s Rock” because she always insists on climbing it every day on the way home from school…
Kiera LOVES this dress. Opa bought it for her when he was working in India. He is there right now and promised to bring her (and Quinnie) back some more dresses.
lots of ice cream treats on the way home from school
